We will be adhering to the following safety measures based on guidance from the CDC and California-OSHA:

Mandatory facemasks for all persons over the age of 2 years.

We will provide free sanitizer for staff and students

We will provide free masks for staff and students

Teachers will wipe down pianos, chairs/benches, music stands and door knobs with disinfecting wipes between lessons and also any other non-porous surfaces used during the lesson. Part of the student’s lesson time will be used for cleaning.

Hepa-13 air purifiers will be in use in lesson rooms and the lobby.

Plexiglas attached to music stands will be available in lesson rooms to assist with distancing (social distancing 3’ to 6’ will be maintained as reasonably practicable).

We ask that anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing do not attend lessons in person.

If a student has been in direct contact with someone who has a confirmed or presumptive case of the COVID-19 virus or has travelled out-of-country, please do not attend in person lessons until the 14 day incubation period is done and they are clear of the virus.

A number of teachers will be teaching remote-only. This will reduce the number of persons visiting on-site each day.

*If a student is unable to come for a private lesson due to sickness or preventive measures, teachers can give online lessons at their regularly scheduled lesson time.
