Piano Lessons
Piano lessons can start any time of the year and we teach children as young as 5 and adult students at the beginning through advanced levels. Piano students at our Academy can choose from a variety of styles such as pop, jazz, rock, blues, and classical.
Beginner students usually start with a 30-minute lesson once per week with the piano teacher. Students will learn to read music, build an understanding of rhythm and enjoy creative exploration through composition, improvisation, and performance.
If you would like an instrument to practice on at home there are several options. One popular option is to purchase an electric piano or keyboard. If you decide to purchase an electric keyboard, we recommend that it have weighted keys so the feel of the instrument is more like an acoustic piano. Another option is to rent or purchase an upright, baby-grand, or full grand piano. Upright pianos are a popular option because of their compact size.
The tuition for weekly 30-minute private piano lessons is $144 per month. There is a discount for families with more than one student enrolled.
